** For all new PreK-6th grade families an initial $100 application fee is required.

Financial Assistance

We understand that affordability is an issue for some families that are interested in a private school education for their child. In order to address these needs, the Board of Trustees allocates a portion of the annual budget for financial scholarships.

Willowwind uses FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment for the evaluation of financial aid need. All forms are submitted to FACTS directly through a website portal. Financial aid is only available to K-6 Willowwind families.

Please note: An application for admission should be submitted to Willowwind prior to, or at the same time as submitting a financial aid application to FACTS.

To apply for financial aid, go to this direct link online.factsmgt.com.

Note: The priority aid application deadline is March 31st of each year, but applications can be submitted at any time. Additional financial aid awards may be given out to later applicants if funds are available.

 (ESA) Education Savings Account Program

Parents who choose to enroll their eligible children in one of Iowa’s accredited nonpublic schools will receive an amount equal to the per pupil funding allocated to public school districts for the same budget school year. For the 2024-25 school year, the amount will be $7,826. Funds are held in an education savings account (ESA) to be used for tuition, fees, and other eligible qualified education expenses.

The Students First ESA Application will be available in English and Spanish. The application window for the 2024-25 school year is open from 8:00 a.m. on April 16, 2024 through 11:59 p.m. June 30, 2024.
